Premiums have 2 reasons going for them.

1. Very meta besides oldest ones (Stella/Astei/Drakhan) in one or more areas

2. Banner is permanent, there’s no reason to rush ever.

3. Unlike limited where it only adds the featured hero and nothing else, premiums accumulate over time so while the rates drop you get a chance to pull any of the premiums

So by this logic, you ideally want to spend mostly on limited and then once you accumulate many premium heroes whom you lack, and find a certain time period where you don’t feel like pulling other stuff you can go ham. As a result thanks to the higher rates you’ll end up grabbing a lot of premiums you never had.

It’s not all good news of course, but it’s fair in its own way so to speak.

What the change means she's only any sort of meta in mono-water teams. The good change they made is finally moving parts of her kit in her transcend down/elsewhere, including the highly criticized huge crit rate from 6* (now 5*), whose spot got replaced by anti-fire specific buffs.
Not gonna humor to the shitposter but I shall point out that one thing is making fights where you're incentivized/forced by the mechanics to use certain elements/units (bosses already have this as passives) on top of the inherent elemental advantage, and another very different thing is making units that have as part of their kit that it only works on mono-element teams or "6* to win against element".

They should address the real issues with that instead of adding yet another layer to it. Maybe undo the split instead of creating more of it, remember when Smilegate was the one pushing the split and it was seen as bad thing? I do. They are in trouble because they basically cannot make much money off regular units (which require lots of work to make all the same) unlike in pretty every other game because people (mostly older players that is) have stocked up so many purple tickets that also feel almost worthless to get for various reasons. They really should address that instead of adding gear gacha that might look even worse to the outsider picking up the game.

Statistically speaking there's bound to be plenty that won't like it and of those that might simply tolerate it at best.

If there's real data then they should show it and how it correlates and the reasoning where the decisions stem from.

We have been told this gear gacha comes from the need of generating more revenue, if it was really about addressing gear acquisition then there are always other ways that don't involve the gacha and the associated resources. Stating you want to drain people of their resources doesn't roll well off the proverbial tongue either.

They need to make regular surveys for updates and upcoming changes, that address not only gameplay but also content (characters, story, media) and direction, and how it all weights for the individual player, but so far we got almost none (just once and it was severely lacking at best).

Is your target audience a very small community of gameplay and grind autists that just care about that, spreadsheet simulators and scoreboards, be it for PvE or PvP, and will whale for it and that's where you make your money and you squeeze them as hard and for as long as you can?

Likely, the average and most numerous kind of player doesn't want to be burdened and just wants to enjoy the girls, animations, interactions, art, music, visually satisfying combat, and the story, and have a good time casually, while progressing, winning small victories, sharing them with the community, and looking forward to the next update. Is this your target audience?

Transparency and clarity are some of your most precious resources and right now we're at a pivotal point, don't screw it up.

I would GREATLY appreciate a wider window during Continuous Stat Change on Precise Craft to hit the stop button. Not necessarily a larger interval between changes, but just get rid of or greatly reduce the time that the Stop button is greyed out. Please rely to them that they should put on sale older costumes related to the running event or season. May also add them back as secondary "rerun" battle passes if you will, people often are more willing to spend on these if there are other things like currency attached. PvP changes too much for hard rules to apply to gear sets. I’m top 20 24/7 and i can tell you I’ve ran D Luna in full speed, speed swiftness full pen pen swiftness pen speed immune speed immune pen immune swiftness and of course revenge as well. It’s too autistic to ask of someone to bring out examples of each.

In RTA due to time constraints you will typically set your gear to more standardized patterns so you can cover more enemies but in arena you get to pick and choose who you fight so custom tailoring teams and gear to beat them is normal and basically part of the puzzle solving.
