Sanity is your HP and you don't have to worry about it as long as it isn't about to run out, although you do need 3k by the end of the game for the true ending. Get the Self Control skill to level 2 or 3 and you'll basically never have to worry about the Sanity loss from Nasty which means you can mostly ignore the stat. All you have to do for Shape and Mood is just make sure they aren't on states with negative effects. Grab level 1 of the Hysteric skill so you can freely change them and they also become non-issues.
