Done with the game, 6/10. Best parts were the more crafted TOP missions when you're not in the passage and no one is talking. Ending level was good, brought together everything and provided great avenues for sniping from a distance. Some of the culling issues also made themselves more than apparent with giant blobs of rock just not rendering but still blocking bullets. Performance was also jittery compared to the rest as well probably due to all the junk objects rendering, I definitely needed to see those shelves full of books. Final run of missions in the radius with the SR-25 was a breeze and only used a hundred rounds. Choice at the end was BS I didn't care about so I went with the funny one. Though some parts of the game were tedious it's definitely a single player experience, with encounter sizes in the open being pretty small and CQB being pretty tight and one note I don't think I'd gain any joy from co-op, especially starting the story again. If you could start co-op in post game it could be interesting but you'd both be overpowered and probably kill things before your partner spots them. The difference between a short barrelled and long barrelled rifles are pretty negligible in the same class besides the longer one increasing the muzzle velocity. Inventory was a backpack like ITR that you couldn't drop, and a plate carrier ala Exfil Zone, with a PDA with functional menus showing that you're going to have SPECIAL style stats. Good atmosphere though, ran well, and the VR controls were both largely decent and had the modern level of customization.5/10 with a big asterisk that it actually could be good at some point, it's just so early that it's impossible to tell beyond the dev actually understanding and having played VR games.

But potentiometers also jitter, so if you don't walk at full speed and the game didn't smooth movement you'll be sporadically changing speed. Also sometimes the devs didn't put a large endzone for 100% speed so that can happen if you hold the stick to full. And finally it's not a full sized stick when the controller has plenty of space for one. Some people need slow controlled speed so they don't puke. I just like to walk sometimes for immersion. Basically fucked on quest over literally pennies.
