I'll just make some things clear before leaving this server for good.Why I did that: Hftf was my first fighting game, it doesn't excuse anything, and I really wanted to show my worth. My fight stick arrived. Im enjoying it far more than I thought I would. This is awesome. My concerns of having it provide no real advantage and introduce potential problems have pretty much vanished.Sure there is no solid HUGE benefit to playing stick. But its simply more fun play on one. And I guess thats all the reason I really need, its just more fun (in a lot of ways).I was concerned with the noise, but its really not that crazy. If you are purposely slamming on this thing, yeah it can get loud. But you can play pretty quiet if you want to.I thought some half circle moves might be easier on it, so far this has not really been the case. If anything its more hard, but after one day I am improving. I think after more practice this issue will vanish. To my surprise, having the buttons laid out like this is more beneficial than the stick itself. Feels good for the brain to have the light, medium, and hard buttons laid out.SF6 and Darkstalkers, have been more fun since I started this. I also booted up Tekken 8, Ive played with pad for 10 years as my Tekken main, so I dont plan on switching to stick for that game. But to my surprise a lot of skill did transfer over with my main. This eases another fear of mine, if I want to eventually switch to pad for games I learn on stick, the skill can transfer. There will be an adjustment period but you arent starting at zero skill.So yeah, Tekken I will use my controller, and other modern fighters I think so too. But as for SF6, older fighters, and probably Capcom fighters in general, Im using this guy.
