When Droll is failing its job to stop combos turn one, hasn't its purpose to exist been lost?I have been meaning to talk about this in particular for some time now.The rationalization certain people use for Droll to not be simply forbidden yet (or throughout history in general) is "it stops crazy combos turn one" and you should just learn to get good and play through it or with it in mind.Not only is Droll completely failing to evidently stop "crazy combos," as I can pre-emptively always make what you see in OP if going first (short of Bagooska), but I accepted the terms of "getting better" to do such even if it's horrible to be punished like that for simply one search.Nowadays, the threat of Droll is when it's leveraged against you while you're the one going second after your opponent has established their full board (see second screen), which I just feel has completely defeated its purpose to exist. There is no reason you should be going second and afraid of or considering Droll in your searches. The new Witchcrafter cards in REVO and CORI LINK-5 Zenna also have means for the first turn player to search out Droll and have it live next turn.
