Something similar to the last chapter of Live A Live where most of the enemies are variations on ones from previous chapters and there's a boss rush against every previous boss before the final boss. In that case, the story justified it by saying that the final boss pulled those enemies into his world from across time and space. I could easily see a similar thing with a dark world that pulls in parts from all the previous dark worlds. Floradinn and Ribbick are test runs for Darkners that are just variations on previous ones.

I've been arguing with people all year about the second battle theme, they've been saying that From Now On means it's going to be the battle theme from now on, I'm telling them it's a reference to "you accept everything that will happen from now on" and it's obviously the same melody as Dark Sanctuary so it's meant to be a battle theme specific to that location. I think it's more likely there will be a new battle theme every chapter and Rude Buster was only used for so long because the early chapters were shorter. I'm glad I didn't have to wait as long as I thought to settle this debate, I thought for sure Chapter 5 wouldn't be out till fall or winter. Which works out because the new Castlevania game is coming out in the fall and I'm gonna want to be playing that anyway.
asriel, papyrus, gaster, FRIEND, ECHIDNA and dess will all make their first ingame appearance at the same time in one cutscene and it will be too chaotic to understand

The Knight sucks. The Mother 3 Masked Man isnt as much of a mystery as the Knight but I already know its a million times more emotionally impactful reveal and that still hits no matter how many times you replay it while the Knight will be a disappointment. Carol has had 3 text boxes, who cares if she's the knight. Dess means nothing to the player. Rudy is mostly an exposition dump and to be honest he's less engaging than Pizzapants.
