why does poe1/2 have this weird cycle where the first week or so, the league starts off really good but then everything starts falling apart by the second week? this is my fourth league (first 3 being keepers, last of the druids, and mirage) and this pattern has occurred repeatedly without fail. is this normal or were these recent leagues unusual outliers?
Followup on yesterdays glacial shot explody shenanigans.Initially I was planning on using concussive runes and armor explosion to chain explode the screen but it only really worked with staggering palm. It's a fun build to check out if anyone likes chaining explosions. However I wanted to make it work with crossbows but couldn't. The closest was flashbang which does a whole lot more stun buildup but still didn't really have the impact I was hoping for and the damage on bosses was miserable. The physical shots are all rather poorly suited for it or maybe it's that ranged just doesn't do enough stun buildup.I ended up respeccing to warbringer for the armor break but even with that getting runeforged blades to pop off consistently didn't seem to work. I tried a bunch of different setups with different shots. It has a requirement on being on a skill that you use yourself which limits it quite a bit and makes the armour breaking more difficult. Somewhat accidentally I arrived on the current setup. For some reason the crystals from glacial bolt kinda just explode even without double vision's surges popping them since I swapped to a high dps crossbow. Not 100% always but at lot of the time. I would need to do piece by piece testing to see what causes it but for now it works. I took out runeforged blades and replaced it with armor explosion which allows me to pop riven armor on bosses for more damage. It could be better as some other class if you took out the whole armor break stuff though. It uses up a lot of points and I'm not sure how relevant it is anymore.TLDR the current setup is>glacial bolt + armor explosion + biting frost>blasphemy repulsion + biting frost>herald of ice + biting frost>polcirkeln because I don't freeze with all the biting frostsBuild also doesn't use up ward anymore so I probably should respec for some real defenses..

It’s interesting game design where the endgame is you either instantly delete the map boss or they get enough time to launch an attack that has a 20% chance to instant kill you. I’d be cool with them putting a ceiling on boss damage to player and player damage to boss so that we actually had to fight them and not just have a Wild West shoot out every time.

Mobs should never have invuln phases, instead they should have 99% DR phases. This will solve a lot of problems with mobs going invuln due to a bug or bosses doing their big gay show and dance at 1% left.

And I'm saying this as someone who interacts with trade just barely enough to warrant not going SSF so I'm not even divbrained when I say this.Also hysterias seem way rarer. I was getting heaps of them last league and I've stopped bothering to vaal essences I see now because at this point I'd have to find two just to break even.
