They are fucking awful because when all you do is highroll legendaries you end up just getting absolutely assfucked because 90% of your cards are 7+ and you have nearly no ramp or filler to play tempo. Fortunately as of right now the prebuilt decks are Sword and Abyss, Abyss has the edge between the two but Sword is good enough to get consistent wins. But if you're new you should play the new format that lets you play with a smaller card pool that is also all free to use for that format.

It's there purely to ease returning and new players into the game, hence why it only features set 1 cards(most people quit halfway through set 2) and why all the cards are free in that gamemode specifically(new players can run a meta set 1 deck for free).
