I did do a quick sim run and confirmed they don’t have to be in hand to boost, the blues are the same if you have 1 or 6 in hand for arpeggio. She is getting some free buffs from her potentials and equipment that may explain the numbers but I’m sure someone better could work out exactly how the damage values are being generated.

Feels like it's arpeggio or bust for sortie (or chaos) to go easy but with the way sortie works you only get one chance at it so it's rough. Arpeggio cards are all assigned to Tenebria and as a result hit a lot harder if you have proper fragments and her partner. If a rhythm card gets assigned to a support it's only good for stacking performance buzz, and that's if you're even using photo time, nevermind all of your supports will hit like a wet noodle anyway even if you fill out their potential page. I'm not about to give them all basic attack fragments to make it better either.
