I retract my previous statements about overseer being good. Went with soldier/arbites and picked the dog because it's thematic. Was novel at first but I felt like I was falling behind compared to my other companions. Switched to Arch Militant and it's night and day. More damage, more crits, more survivability and more mobility because it's very easy to stack versatility with a soldier.

i want to make a halfling melee inquisitor, should I go dex focus or str? Dex feels obvious but I'm concerned about the number of feats it'd take since I'd need Finesse, Slashing/Fencing Grace, and probably martial or exotic weapons since simple finesse weapons are pretty bad and Inquisitor doesn't get many. Realistically speaking, if you were an obvious heretic, only Idira would stay with you. Then Uralon would join you later.They already have Jimmy, Ulfar, Argenta leave you.They don't have Cassia, Abelard, and Pasqal leave you, but if the game were more realistic these people would eventually bail too at a certain point, like where you start ruining the protectorate for chaos. Even if Abelard is mindlessly loyal to the person who holds the warrant, then he would realize something is wrong when you deface the warrant, for example.People like to say Kibbellah worships you and would do whatever, but that's not actually realistic. If you actually said "umm, no ackshully, fuck the Emperor" like you unironically can do in the game, she would slice your head off. Her just following along with someone who screams "for chaos!" is just another unrealistic part of the game. What I find odd about the situation is that Swarm and even Lich can kill every companion. So owlcat already has experience with routes that alienate or kill everyone. So it's not even a matter of "we can't" or "we don't want to". They just didn't for RT. You could easily have a deamonette, a bloodthirster, a nurgling, etc replace the crew, exactly like how Lich gets a cast of undead friends.I think the heretic path being half baked is pretty unfortunate, because it can be cool.
