There's a time related bullshittery going on with a transcendent-analogous creature. There's a new faction introduced that is dedicated to stopping timey wimey fucky wuckies, and of that faction there is a character named Althea who is the side protag alongside us the player character, who gets 'temporarily deputized' to help. Ride or Die is you fighting against amalgamations and phantasms created by the bigbad who also boosts them up with extra power. Mechanically they're just modifiers to the fight, extra bullet hell, random upjumps, etc etc.

Current story is an actual advancement and some structure to the story, you even play as althea (sort of like the princess no/JMS story where you play kanna/hayato/ayame).
Characters as part of the faction appear in the manji story trailer for classic MS (in a few frames, so not overtly), so it's likely they intend to make it so they travel through time and maple classic is not actually just a classic server but a split timeline or something.

What should I have an easy time clearing at this CP? I did Lotus/Damien (easy) and it took a bit. Princess No/Akechi went down easily but I'm not sure if I can push higher since I'm still learning the class and bosses. Rental gear is out of the question for the foreseeable future since I had to star my weapon (15), upgrade symbols and other various things. Kinda feel like I've done all I can do at this point.

I shouldn't have made a fucking Zero for CW, now I'm stuck with this shit and need to not only learn every god damn boss but still learn the fucking class for every fight too and watch while I hit like a wet noddle because lol4kfrags but I don't even get a burst to offset it. This is why I never listen to when people say "do what you want" because it always ends up coming around and biting me in the ass. I can't even pivot to another account because lolmvpred and that's too much to give up. Nobody said that zero would be trivial but just that it was better than a lot of the other more annoying ones (namely cd skip classes). If you don't like DPM, I suggest sticking to the usual non-kms picks since even zero in particular isn't too annoying of a dpm class because it's at least consistent.

It's not "do what you want", it's "main what you'd like", and nobody knows what you like. If you pick a class that's just strong, you will burn out of the game. You will spend the vast majority of the playtime on your main, and if you don't find the grinding and bossing frictionless, you will not enjoy it, even if you can clear content earlier than other classes at your level. There are plenty of zero players who like the class, and it's been around the top of DPM charts for a while + it got nice qol recently. Out of all the classes whose playerbase bitches about, zero has got to be one of the quietest in the past year.
