They should not acknowledge this. It's like acknowledging that the characters have no cocks. They have turned on of the timeless aspects of the series into part of the narrative. There is no decent way to conclude a story like this without breaking Sonic or Eggman's concepts. Surge was doomed from the start, that's why she's been reduced to tsundere shipping fodder for various characters that make no sense.

There was no dialogue either, so you had a lot more freedom to interpret sonic as much more serious than the direction he later took.Basically, it's possible to see archie sonic and classic sonic/archie eggman and classic eggman as the same character. Archie Sonic and Modern Sonic/Archie Eggman and Modern Eggman are too different.

Unleashed (Recompiled) slander on the timeline. Never really got into it on PS3, but I ended up loving the Recompiled release. Even the Werehog, I think it becomes fun when you upgrade your stats, learn the combos and nail its platforming.
