Uwuver made me stop hating Silver, but not in a cute or shippy way. I used to despise him because I saw him as redundant, a failed attempt to recapture the lighting-in-a-bottle that was Shadow. Another tragic and serious but pure character who goes from villain to hero. Once Uwuver started I realized I'd been too mean to Silver. The faggot jokes weren't supposed to be taken literally. No character deserves this level of flanderization. I can't fathom doing it to a character I don't like, let alone one I like.
