Canto 9 was such a delicatessen. Insane hype and aura moments, the story moved forward in a meaningful way (literally nothing important in Canto 8), fulfilling boss fights back to back, interesting fight mechanics, having to punch above our weight, the incomplete Malkuth power and foreshadowing (reign over the "kingdom"), the reveal of Sinclair and Gregor's power, Araya's farewell and EGO, Dias's involvement, and the Canto's closure. Loved all of it, except the stupid fucking mannequins. Canto 10 has big shoes to fill but it's guaranteed to be interesting because we know fuckall about Meursault so every bit of lore drop about him helps
