Try playing a maxed out stagger arbiter with a shock maul, and just playing whack a mole with armored heads to keep a whole pack of maulers or crushers from being able to fire an attack at your team. Hit em with the zap if you're not feeling confident you'll stagger them fast enough to stop it. Shot pistol & shield combo so you can drop everything you're doing and countersnipe for your team instantly. You can dogmaxx to provide a lot of passive support for your team too, just constantly generating toughness and TDR in coherency while it pounces shit. I fuckin love protecting my team bro, you have no idea.
I rarely play above Damnation because it's tiresome and tedious. I've beaten auric maelstroms before, but don't want to do it again, get exhausted after playing one.

Not the pistol mind you, it does good single target damageYou can only apply 1 stack and only 1 stack, but it lasts for like 10+ seconds, but it does only 30 damage per tick.But this makes the enemy hit by the phospor to lose 40% of its hitmass, but the AoE range on the gun is fucking terrible.According to Hank the gun also applies stacks of Brittleness to an enemy as well, but he doesn't say as to HOW MUCH brittleness.This is just the hive scum needler but backwards, ie. you do a fuck load of DIRECT HIT damage, but the DoT is absolute trash. AND the gun has fuck all AoE to it so you can't even apply the dot on a group of enemies, meaning the whole cleave thing is worthless.Not like it matters anyway since the phospor pistol does like a 1000 damage on direct hit, so any enemy hit that's not an elite is just gonna die instantly anyway, so the DoT is pointless.What idiot designed this?This entire gun is like standing in a wheelchair, it's an oxymoron made into a gun.

And the AoE explosion is comically small, the othe enemies need to be practically STANDING inside the target enemy for the phospor burn to spread onto them. That's how small the radius is.Only useful thing is the brittleness DoT that it applies, but even that is only useful against bosses because they are the only enemy who has enough health for you to maximize the brittleness effect on them without them dying.Crushers also exists, but their spawn rates got nerfed hard so they aren't as much of a problem anymore.My point is that they basically wasted the phospor burn DoT on a gun that doesn't even need it at all.They should have made a grenade launcher style gun that shoots phospor grenades that spread the phospor DoT instead.Yeah, they could MAYBE in the future bring this launcher I described, but that entirely hypothetical wishlisting and there's no guarantee we'll ever get one.
