Actually read the stat descriptionsInt gives Arts resistance and Agility gives Phys resistance which seems useful.Laev gets about 50percent less Cryo damage because she has high int. Another thing is Flourite has a 20percent chance to ignore all arts damage I tested it against the squid and she is sometimes just immune to its waves.

Update on my "normie mediocre team" from yesterday - as expected, artificing and essence charging were enough to take it to 30. I really wanted to keep Ember in the lineup, but ragequit her after she healed Tidalkast to full for the third run in a row. For future Ember lovers, I would say that you can take "mutual healing" OR "Whittle Down" with her - otherwise, you get to the point where a scratch is full healing the enemy since your health pool is pretty small. Not that she can't still full heal the enemy if you take a big enough hit, but if you're legitimately in the red on a normal health pool, it's more likely to be worth it.Of course, taking Endmin with the "her fucking combo skill heals the enemy" risk was made dramatically worse by taking Arclight, so it wasn't really a meaningful tradeoff in the end - it just made the ram stages even more hell since Arclight's constant combos trigger Endmins, and it becomes all too easy to use her skill by mistake instead of letting it time out. Still, it's not particularly HARD with these Risks - just a bit annoying.All in all, with Endmin being actively counterproductive on this team, the team level being 80 (and with many masteries missing), and the gear selection being off-meta, I feel comfortable saying any decent player should be able to hit 30 Risk on their own; this is the result purely of being diligent with artificing and essence collection, not of whaling for fantastically meta operators (though Fangyi is that, to be fair) or obsessively studying meta strats. Anyone could outperform this team with a little thought simply by virtue of dropping Endmin - even leaving the slot empty would likely be better.With that said, I think I'm going to end this experiment and go with a "real" team next time around - this one won't be able to hit 35 without the timegated Risks, I don't think. I'd have to take 3 points worth of -atr or +enemy HP to make it work, and I don't think I can kill the trash fast enough with those.

Nice to have my opinion vindicated that Endfield's combat can actually be a lot of fun when the enemies aren't pushovers. Endfield took up my vidya time this weekend, it's been a blast. The problem is the bar being so god damn low for regular content (which is the majority). Even agony umbrals are only the equivalent of R10-15 at worse in my opinion. Same with level 90 boss fights. And regular story content fights are even lower. Combat content would be much more engaging if the bar for "high end" for regular content is tuned to the effect of R20 level of difficulty at least. Everything past that can still be reserved for CC autismo time
