The only reason IDW doesn't have humans is because it was made with the 2 worlds mandate in effect. Ian literally said in the bumblekast like 7 times that IDW takes place on a different planet from earth. Even though they lifted the mandate and showed game locations in IDW the actual rule is still in play. IDW is also not allowed to use the word "Earth">But DC DC publishes the DC comic and doesn't have to follow any of IDW's mandates

This affected IDW and when fans hated it they undid it when Tailstube launched. As a result IDW and the movies are stuck with it. IDW is sticking with it because it was part of the agreement while the movies are sticking with it because the story already confirmed it.

Why is it such a bad thing if Archie fans demand better writing of the series? Criticism should always be welcome, or else you want the series to stagnate and stay bad forever.
