I think there’s a bug with Mr.Karate. If you do Gen’ei Kyaku with X it does more damage than with circle when it’s 14 hits for X and 20 for circle. I think it was supposed to be the opposite.

Mr.karate and krauser are op yes but fun. You can patch them and they will be perfectly fine, but the characters I mentioned are just cancer no matter how much they get nerfed.

I would’ve never gotten into the game this much if not for the dlc characters, the lame base roster really killed the game. SNK should ask themselves why they’re relying on legacy characters to sell the game and not the motw cast they banked on.

the legacy character dlc outside of krauser has been characters who just had a tour in kofxv (andy, joe, mary, geese), and otherwise one of them even was an motw character who should have been there already (jae), mr big and robert karate aren't even legacy ff because they're aof and one just came from kofxv

and the launch roster didn't have a whole lot of additional legacy ones outside mai and billy who were already in xv either, though billy got changed so much more at least moves wise

if we did a venn diagram with kofxv, you can see that almost nothing refreshing that we haven't seen in a while has been added from an older pre-motw ff yet outside krauser really, that's it
duck king is supposedly coming theoretically, ricknessa is coming, people guessing alfred and white, but what about other ff1-rbs characters? no cheng, no raiden, no laurence, no axel max, no richard wilson, jin twins, boob grabber, hon fu, freddie mercury, younger taller nicotine, hwa joe

One more thing, in general for Mr. Karate, all of his strong and ex moves can be dash cancelled with his unique "dragon bust" cancel. And like most characters all of his ex moves can be cancelled into ex moves.

So you can things like a basic combo into his strong shoryuken uppercut special, dash cancel into his ex moves, do basically whatever you want with more ex moves(don't dash cancel these until the end just chain them into each other), then near the end you can dash cancel BACK into special moves like his strong kick special(Hien Shippuu Kyaku) and then dash cancel into a weak uppercut to finish. His fucking routes are insane you can basically do whatever you want, there are some that end up weak and wasting your meter and some that do 50% damage with barely any meter. And then there are the ones that end with a level 1 super that do 70% damage.
