I mean it is but to act like its the same as combos forest historically pulls off (all 3 flavors of roach, ladica/sekka/hozumi/magachiyo storm otk, loxis plays, go wide with castelle for either a storm fairy board with whatshername or just big board etc) seems a bit off to me. thats not to say every forest deck has to end with a big combo though, there was stuff like wolfbolt, tempo/aggro forest (in both games), you could even argue ptp wasnt thaaaat combo-y for its finisher, though it def played a lot like it in the buildup.I guess the bottom line is that for me evo forest doesnt really feel in service to the mechanics of the craft since the core is just big stats on board without worrying about any sort of combo payoff, just neutral evo stuff. I feel like I'm engaging a lot more with what forest is about with combo. thats not to say I don't run the evo package in combo, it has nice synergies, I just mean more that doing pure evo is simply pretty bleh for me.
