Dragonfall has a cap on the amount of keys you can get iirc, I think you can do like 2 meta rotations then you're done.
I think Drizzlewood Coast is the only other farm you can actually do to your heart's content. Auric Basin shiny bauble farm too but it relies on a weekly rotation so only possible one out of three weeks.

Thats not going to solve the problem of having 80+ people and their summons blobbing on a single enemy. It gets to the point where youre asking to take the "massively multiplayer" part out of the MMO, which is the only viable solution, which is what they seem to be aiming for for gw3.
The real question is whether theyre bringing back body blocking because that would certainly help spread entities out.

If you know what you're doing, then Berserker Ele can solo that stuff, but you won't know what you're doing yet if you're new.
You can try using gear with more survivability (If you boosted to 80 the game gave you a full set of Celestial gear which is probably ideal) but realistically, at this stage you're probably just not playing well enough (not an insult) to solo HoT stuff regardless of gear.

Do you have Tempest fully unlocked (ie: Did you go get PoF HPs first)? If you don't, then you're better off just sticking with a third Core traitline than using Tempest without having all the nodes filled out. But realistically, you're probably going to just need to get help from other players for a lot of the HoT points, and/or skipping ahead to PoF to get the (considerably easier, though you might still struggle) HPs there.

They're almost definitely nerfing Scepter which is going to be a de facto Evoker nerf since Scepter is a big part of why it's been so busted.
They actually might nerf Toad Evoker's Alacrity too, because I think people were getting above 40k DPS on Condi Alacrity Evoker, but that depends on what they do with Scepter. They might actually revert some of the other nerfs if they hit Scepter hard enough, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Tempest is fully unlocked. With what I had from the base game, and with the hero challenges I did manage to beat I had enough to get it fully.
Also: Yeah I'm not so soft that I get upset when somebody tells me "you probably aren't playing well enough" when I'm new at something. The man who thinks he is already perfect, will never improve. I wouldn't have taken it as an insult had I played for years, do not worry.
I try to dodge and walk away from shit enough to not take unnecessary damage, but there's enough stray hits that I can't avoid and get killed. At least on some. Next time I'm on the Ele trying to get more Hero Points, I might try using the earth elemental, so far I've been trying to burst stuff down with fire ele, which also tanks a bit, but gets clapped.

Very rarely are you getting 2 full squads of people in one space outside of WvW, and this isn't a problem WoW faced 20 years ago which if you take a Teq fight as an example isn't that much larger than a 40 man raid most of the time.

There's 3 facets to the issue, first is that nameplates aren't rendered in the 3D game space so they will always appear full size regardless of their distance to the camera creating a baseline layer of visual clutter with more players present.

Second is their art direction for combat animations which does not harmonize with the gameplay at all. Every single player animation has heavy brush stroke trails and particle effects regardless of the ability's importance. Whether I'm throwing an auto attack or an interrupt with my Thief spear is nigh indistinguishable as the animation is exactly the same and the auto-attack actually has MORE conspicuous particle effects than the interrupt. Screen distortion is also present on many, many abilities which quite literally makes the screen unreadable.

Third is their game design which heavily encourages blobbing together especially in the older open world fights that do nothing to discourage it, which just compounds on the first two issues.

The game design really is fucked. I would apply a three ring system to all buffs, where melee get the most out of it at point blank, pet builds at medium, and ranged builds at the furthest ring, just to prevent the buff squish.

Take notice, this is how you do it valve. You announce the third game in your game series FIRST, put out a bunch of info, and THEN go "Oh and we're also making a card game". You don't tease that you have a major announcement first and then reveal it as a card game.

Valve might be the only "big one" left that might actually care to some degree. It was just a misstep. Clearly they thought DotA fans would be hyped about another game with that IP, and just didn't consider that "big valve announcement" teasing has people hoping for quite something else.
Although: To this day one of the funniest reveals in the history of gaming.

I like the Idea of Guild Wars Reforged on mobile, that's cool & all, but how does Guild Wars 1 fit in with mobile gaming? I think of mobile gaming as "quick 5 min sesh" or whatever. What can you do in GW1 that doesn't require 30min to an hour minimum? Certainly can't clear a map, most missions are longer, really what can you do while you wait for the bus or whatever?

Also sidenote: mobile internet be spotty as shit sometimes. Specially if you are on public transport going through tunnels and whatnot. Does it have any disconnect protection?

I haven't played since the cantha expansion. What should I be doing to make the best of my time returning to gw2? Im assuming the usual play through the stories that I have missed.
