If you were given full creative control over the companion roster of a CRPG set in a world of your choice and didn't have to worry about budget constraints or writing restrictions so each companion can be as weird and complex as you wanted, what type of companions would you want to see? Personally I'd like to see more BEEG companions like an Ogre or something. So big that you have to leave them outside when you go into small buildings, they're able to use two-handed human sized weapons as one handers and they make people nervous at best and cause people to not want you in their towns at worst.
