you know, with all the shit ai is bad for, I finally had the drive to finish an old attempt I had made at creating a vrchat world. it even helped me fix all the random issues with the mirror toggle (apparently I had it set as a button instead of UI -> toggle) and finally fixing my idea of reflections

I tried "Mechpit". It was kind of charming. Build a robot, put together the controls, and it's kind of like battlebots. Spinners are way more powerful than other types.

As a matter of fact the eyetracking on Pico 4 Pro/Enterprise is faster than on quest pro, making it better at following your gaze with foveated encoding.

One thing i've noticed while using Qpro and P4P back to back is that Pico lenses dont have that annoying fucking vigniette on the borders but have bigger glare
The lip tracking is mediocre though, far more limited range - might be improved by tinkering with vrcft sensitivity sliders or just slapping a babble tracker i guess.

yeah, it checks a whitelisted class list of apps from their app store, it checks you have rights to launch it. But you can launch any other apk, which is not a paid game without problem. And even then piracy is still possible by renaming the app class.
Free apps just work, you can install steamlink, you can just use built in browser to download and install quake 3 apk, questlets and AVP users can only dream of this freedom.

When quest was $500, a $700-$750 frame would've really helped. You drop color passthrough and time of flight and upgrade everything else, that seemed achievable. But knowing valve now it was $800 minimum and now it's going to be $1100. What actually would help is a headset that can do wireless PCVR but doesn't need standalone hardware that's making it expensive. I think PCVR only customers would always be interested in that. Also he gave you a reason they could subsidize it. They collect 30% on virtually all PC game sales. Offices aren't going to buy the frame. You can't even part it out like a prebuilt. As long as the software attachment rate of the frame is high enough they will still make a profit on it. But if framies pirate everything or only buy on a sale, not so much.

Guys I've recently experienced a glitch for my rule set for moderating instances to be /vrg/ and 4chan priority.

Here's my full detailed system:
>1) /vrg/ thread user (true-priority)
>2) channer (asked to leave to make space if someone on the thread is asking to join and can't because full)
>3) rando (asked to go on red and kicked if need map space)
>In that order for map slot priority for any /vrg/ event or weekly meet placed here on the thread.

>Note: Being disruptive in the instance will get kicked if no change after getting asked to tone it down. The higher you are in the priority list the more time and resources are gonna be used to make you calm down
>Extra: If you are in a furry avatar, you will be asked to please change out of the avatar if someone in the instance is uncomfortable with fur

Now the issue is there was this guy who recently joined and I interogated them who proudly says he is in the "ve ar gee discord" and says he is 4channer but does not browse /vrg/ calling this place shit.

The weekly event I host is for /vrg/ first as can be seen here. Now one would say he is just a "channer" then.

The instance weekly event often hovers around this number on average.
So this guy joining bumps it up past this number which stresses the organizational flexibility of map pools to drop
