Unless your roster for an element is so chopped that you need Karen, you would always prefer using another style of that element over her. If you need OD for thunder you would definitely want Aina because OD is pretty much her forte. Her sub skill gives you 50% for 7SP already. Then you can use her generalize EX-skill whenever possible for another 50% + 10% from the hit. Her swimsuit EX skill goes to 0 when the enemy is downed so you don't have to worry about saving SP for it. Thunder gets faster at genning OD when you have Maruyama and Tezuka. You can use Maruyama's non-buffed rengeki skill to give everyone +5 hits for 3 turns, then just spam Tezuka's 8-hit EX skill each turn
