I'm not even a weird route player but chapter 6 being completely absent with chapter 5 being just a speedrun feels way too lame.I could understand Undertale's Genocide Route being shorter because it was more of a proof of concept, and it also had good bosses. But here it feels like Chapter 7 is going to be a boss rush against the monsters in the light world, Gaster showing up and saying some shit like "VERY INTERESTING" and you're kicked to the main menu.

I’ve been lukewarm on Delatrune since the second chapter, and this new one has soured any interest I had remaining for this story. We are five chapters in, yet it feels like there has been minimal meaningful progression in the plot. Deltarune feels like all of Toby’s most self indulgent tendencies given spotlight. Everything is setup and sprinkles here and there, but with nothing of any real significance happening.
