It can't just be that he wanted the golden seeds or the code, because he could have gotten those easily by just asking his dad to hang out with him and then opening the flower case when his dad went to the bathroom to pull them out. What happened in these dark worlds other than them opening and then closing? People got kidnapped both times by the Knight, someone we know he is in contact with between the phone calls and Kris kneeling to the knight if you beat that fight, ect. It's possible that this is a red herring and his actual goal is something like speeding up the prophecy, but the kidnapping thing just seems way too logical to not be some aspect of his goal or at least something he wants to happen, maybe not even because he wants them kidnapped but maybe he's baiting the knight for a betrayal or something, we have no clue at that level of detail.

The flower-soul sprites are simple because they're 1 chapter throwaway characters that can't even come to castle town. It's clear that giving them unique silhouettes was a goal the designers had, and I bet they intentionally steer away from Toby's typical generic designs specifically because he doesn't want the official Yellow to look anything like the fanon Yellow (which is just Toby's basic human sprite with cowboy clothes).

After Ch3&4 I kept thinking about what stuff means, who is the knight, etc. But after 5 I just feel disappointed with the lack of answers. I feel like we got really closer to something when Flowery suggested we close Castle Town instead of the Shop but that just gets passed over like so many other things. Meanwhile Asgore's part at the end was probably the weakest nothingburger we could have gotten. At the very LEAST we should have gotten a flashback of what happened from his point of view. Everyone is coming out of this chapter hating Susie but for me I just want Kris and Ralsei to finally eat shit once confronted about everything they're hiding.
