Remove hardcore servers and implement it to the regular game as an optional mode, players who are HC have the rare silver dragon portrait on their nameplate when targeted, elite for self found hc. No level cap increase ever, no flying ever, no seasonal design, no resets.

Classic+ balancing will be just like SOD and retail. 1-3 specs take turns being at the top every new patch. If your spec does too well, expect swift and heavy handed nerfs. If your spec gets A LOT of attention on reddit, expect even heavier nerfs with a permanent stigma where you can no longer be the top for the rest of the game.

If you can craft BIS items then go for it, but it doesn't matter much since you will replace those items easily in tier 4 raids anyway. You can find them easily on discord but Karazhan is so easy you can just do random teams in LFD tool.

The issue with wanting balance changes is that all of the solutions were what were implemented in tbc/wrath/cata and it seems redundant to reinvent class balance. But arbitrarily cutting things off at 1.12 is silly when blizzard openly admits that classes like Druid were unfinished in vanilla and the final additions were delayed to TBC. While I think the most reasonable way to balance the game is to do a Chinese funserver where the balance is set at 3.3.5 abilities and talent trees, idk if that's what ploosers want. In fact I think they don't want that, but still want prot paladin tanks and elemental shaman that don't run out of mana in 6 max rank casts. How do you satisfy such a fandom?

It's easier to give every class the capability to AoE when the alternative is x class doesn't have AoE, don't bring X class to y dungeon.
