I like shaddoll but its clearly too old to keep up with the modern game. For gods sake I have to honestly activate flip effects by setting a monster face down for a turn and then flipping them one turn later.I'd like recommendations on similar decks that are more modern/stronger. I like having a boss monster that is a floodgate on legs and I also like being able to recycle cards in the graveyard and repurpose them for something else, so losing cards never feels like a waste. I also like being able to convert 1 ED monster into another (every shaddoll monster can be used as material for another shaddoll monster, even itself).Is there anything that feels similar? I go out of my way to play Impulse decks, and some formats even when I wanted to play Belle I just couldn't. This format is not that case though. Counter point, I hate playing Droll with Impulse because when I have to use it to Droll myself, sometimes I have to Impulse whatever the fuck to avoid just losing on the spot and by the time my turn rolls around it is dead. Sometimes this even happens going second.
