Melees received full uptime by default but the HP increase from testing was still shipped as of they were expected to greed GCDs or devise uptime strats. It was a colossal failure on devs part, but it's pretty few and far between this ever happens with XIV fights. Like I said, it's comparable to them fucking up Gordias, but it's still not as bad as that and they patched it immediately.

Actually just play osrs if you're a gameplay person. The mechanics feel absolutely amazing once you get past the initial learning curve and the breadth of content is 100x wider than xiv. Xiv has a phenomenal story and the raids are absolute kino but there isn't enough content aimed at keeping casuals and mid level players engaged. Also if you're a degenerate or even just an mmo main those things alone aren't enough time wise to keep you in engaged as a full time player. Or just give up on mmos alternatively, if you don't like rs or xiv the whole genre is looking pretty fucking fried rn.
