The mastermind villain of Deltarune is Suzy Undertale, she's jealous that Gaster made a better world where her counterpart could have an exciting adventure and she wants to bring Deltarune back to being Undertale. Which is what the Knight is doing in the shelter by kidnapping Asgore and Undyne etc
