>Who's your favorite goddess?Probably Eilistraee. She's one of the only gods to actually die for their beliefs, and is one of the few gods who does truly good and selfless things at cost to themselves. Even the other good gods gave stopped at certain points if it meant they were going to die, and they still like gaining followers. But Eilistraee is the type of person who does it even though only a small number of people actually convert to her, and does it all the way until the bad guys murder her. She never gives up, and she does it for the little guy, and doesn't do it for praise or glory. She's actually just a legitimately good person. It's nice to see, since so much of the FR pantheon are assholes.Of course there are other "good ones" like Ilmater and Bahamut and a few others, but in general it's nice to see an actual good one.Some parts of her novels were silly but they're still fun reads for people who want to learn more about the FR pantheon.I was really happy when bg3 had a unique scene and unique item for her. Bonus points since the sword is one of the best in the game with an actually pretty cool and unique ability that stays good for a long time even when you start finding +3 weapons.

And honestly the randomization they include to make it "hard" is just annoying, especially for you first playthrough. However, although the events mostly suck, making your own kingdom choices can be fun, so I wouldn't recommend setting Kingdom management to auto. For your first playthrough I'd suggest just setting the Kingdom to "effortless" set the game difficulty to normal or daring, and go from there.
