Well I finally beat Abyssal Shrine. It seemed kind of underwhelming, or is it just me? The gate-closing mechanic rarely felt like "oh shit I'm trapped it's over" and the FOEs chasing me around was reminiscent to EO1's 4th stratum except without any of the danger or aggression. Some of the random encounters were really difficult though
