Plus the rhythm is off to fit the entire "switch" sound, it would have to be extended with an extra pause that isn't present. Hard to explain without voicing it to you. But I'm like 95% sure people mishearing it as Switch aren't very proficient in Japanese to distinguish between their phonemes enough.In general I think a lot of the "double meanings" are going to get ironed out after enough autists listen to it for a proper transcription. It's mostly just people mishearing from not knowing Japanese. To an untrained ear it arr sound same, but it's distinctively not multiple words at play for most of those from what I can tell. There are more clever ways to induce wordplay with Japanese than just picking similar sounding words out, this song feels pretty straightforward.
