The new Burnite feels incredibly toxic, and it honestly seems like the devs didn't learn why people hated Crest Haven.The problem with Crest wasn't Benison—it was that it rewarded you for not interacting. Most decks have to actively work toward a win condition, like getting your opponent to 12 HP for Albert or sticking Beelzebub and cycling Eggs. Those plans have counterplay. Crest just needed one early evo, then it could spend the rest of the game clearing your board until you eventually died. There was still skill involved, but that play pattern felt awful to face.Burnite has the same issue, except with even fewer restrictions. Marwynn at least had meaningful conditions. Burnite doesn't. You play it as early as possible, super evolve it, and wait for your opponent to naturally fall into Storm or Erntz evo lethal. The Crest alone often deals 8-10 damage, and the 9-cost barely matters in Ramp Dragon since it usually comes down on turn 8, sometimes even turn 7.It also turns Zooey from a desperation card into another source of unavoidable burn. Before, Zooey was a last-ditch attempt to survive that could be answered with wards, drain, or healing. Now every Zooey is at least 2 free face damage from Burnite's Crest, and you're forced to hope they don't simply have another Zooey or Erntz next turn.The 9 AoE is what really pushes it over the edge. It wipes nearly every relevant board while leaving behind a 9/9 that's difficult to remove, so extra copies are never dead—they're just another board wipe plus a huge body. The only real answers are filling your Crest slots or benefiting from the Crest yourself, which is basically limited to Crest Haven. Bahamut removing Crests next set is nice, but relying on a future card to answer this doesn't feel like great design.Oh, and she also punishes healing, because apparently she needed another upside.

New spellboost is way too similar to the set 1 deck (and even dirtboost)I guess there's only so much they can do with the mechanic but still the gameplan is way too similar. 1/4th of the deck is functionally the exact same cards (9 of stormy, shukudai, 1pp draw), ginger is a kuon reskin, the wincon is still the exact same "draw your spellboost target brick early and boost it for your broken otk"...They truly are creatively bankrupt, I guess they lucked out with wamboost and didn't actually intend the deck to have fun gameplay

Ladica is going to get way more fucked than dclimb since getting one shot by dclimb had to happen on turn 10. Dying to Ladica happens on whatever turn they spellboosted enough so any good spellboost cards that get added increase the raw power of the deck. Even if she ends up being balanced now she isn't going to be balanced later.
ladica only does 16 dmg with 7pp and needs 4 dmg elsewhere

First of all, the big elephant in the room, Haven. We all know that with the rotation of Wilbert, Grimnir, and Aether, Haven will lose a lot. However, in my view, the new cards more than compensate for these losses, at least to some extent, since in return, they gave us Salefa back in various ways, haha. Basically, from what I understand, what's being developed is a kind of Haven Evo Last World? Because there are many cards focused on Evo, and to be honest, I liked them; they seemed really interesting. But of course, theory is often different from practice, so I could be wrong. But if we combine it with the typical evolution cards we already have, like Galeon, Fran and Djeta, Katalina, Vira, etc., I think it really has some cool potential. But let's see.

I just realized they gave haven a silence effect but dont even fucking let you use it on your own cards to unleash Galleon.
Do people really think anyone is gonna play evoslop haven? The deck is underpowered as fuck. Everyone will just go back to amulet and pray they don't run into spellboost. Crest and ward are also completely dead in UL, the only deck there will be Kuki, which got a nice buff with Zoe being an extra burn or salefa without needing evo.
