Why does Hotta keep doing pvp events? Gacha players can't stand losing in anything.
Latency, netcode, bugs and cheating will never be perfectly polished for every PVP mode. This is fine because jank is funny when the stakes are low. But it also means that in order to hedge the liability some people get fucked out of a match, Hotta will never give out zero rewards for last place. The backlash would be worse and demand far more man hours than what they pay me to run damage control here. AFK will therefore always be viable and you can shart your panties every patch if you want to but it's not going to change, you'll just miss out on a lot of fun
