The theory that hometown is a simulation created by gaster is a compelling one but I don't like the idea that fave is just a lab experiment made by an ex scientist from undertale, but I think I might have liked the theory if the game came out all at once and I didn't have time to get as emotionally attached to these characters as I am now.
