PspCm is easy on ps2 side, but there in no psp emu to connect to. Jpcsp works but is slow af and ppsspp is too incomplete wrt usb emulation.
PocketStation is a ps1 accessory and there are no known ps2 games compatible with it. Pcsx2 barely supports ps1 so there in no point emulating a ps1 accessory. Forget about it.

This is a good question as a lot of NGPC have short and long presses bound to light/heavy attacks. No emus have this baked in AFAIK. You have to externally set this up. PadForge lets you set up macros like picrel which can bind buttons to as singular short and long presses with customizable duration. So you can have 50ms for short, 200ms for long, and bind them to different buttons. AntiMicro has this functionality too but only handles joystick-to-key style input. PadForge takes your gamepads, hides them from apps, and remakes them as new gamepads/input devices as you need.

i call native a code because it's a Gecko code, a simple string of numbers and letters that target the memory address for bloom and dof. they're both bundled graphics mods that can be toggled per game. the blurred mod is the same as native but uses an intelligent blur filter. edge detection, UI awareness, sub-pixel fractional coordinates, and the EFB is analyzed by the gpu frame buffer in real time using custom pipeline shaders. so the blur filter is a simulation of what the bloom should look like at 4K if you were targeting the original artistic intent at base resolution.

They got soft floats pretty performant in the recompiler. I'm on a 12400f and I can almost run all of them at once (most games don't need it). Not sure why mainline PCSX2 is sitting on its ass with something so important.

I dunno, I think he could have used Ares and/or MiSTer except for maybe 5 games and gotten away with it. If he wanted Retroachievements I believe MiSTer has those but I have not tested it personally. Mupen + Plel is great but not ready for that kind of prime time. Ares still fucks up Body Harvest pretty notably. MiSter's the only one to do Knife's Edge properly.

Massar has a healthy, perky figure but Guerrilla fucked up the IRL model's face (she is cute but Massar has a big jaw), most scenes feel pretty cringe, especially those involving Tyran, the helicopter scene is peak cringe and just plain dumb.
It ends abruptly and the epilogue makes no sense.
The game is like a car crash, so terrible, yet you can’t look away. The main gun, which you can’t drop, is fantastic, and most weapons are incredibly satisfying. The Purger? It melts anything, chef’s kiss. You’ve got a drone with four abilities, assigned via the touchpad and trigger it with L1: Stun (disables enemies and destroys shields), a zip-line, turret mode, and a shield. The d-pad offers four soft abilities: an enemy detector, weapon mode (some guns have two modes; the main gun has automatic for short range and single shot for medium range), an adrenaline shot (similar to CoD Advanced Warfare but better: bullet time only activates when aiming, plus it heals you), and mission objectives.
The story events are cool, and there are characters from Killzone 3, but most of them feel wasted. They could have done much better, and there were a lot of missed opportunities.
Gunplay, artistic and tech is great, but the level design is bad, I don't know why they added stealth. Speaking of gunplay, aiming is incredibly satisfying. The auto-aim feels perfectly tuned, nothing like Destiny or CoD. It’s elegant, subtly assisting without dragging your aim like in those games, giving it a refined touch.
The controller scheme has nothing to do with Killzone, is more like CoD.
Killzone Mercenary is a better game overall.

Killzone Mercenary sales fell short of expectations because many Vita fags stop supporting the console after Sony released two über kusoges a year earlier: Black Ops Declassified and Resistance Burning Skies. These two games killed the Vita, along with the dashed hopes for a Metal Gear Solid after that MGS4 tech demo, the rumors of a GTA San Andreas Stories, and the exclusive BioShock “announced” by Ken Levine, it ended up as a BioShock port for the iPad LMAO.
