I run silver, quicksilver and gold on my MB and I wouldn't trade it for anything. Being able to comfortably push past 150% IIR without cucking your build makes it already worth it, the MS and huge dps increase are just the cherry on top.

I’m really enjoying my Warbringer using PoEGuy’s cluster grenade totem build. But the most fun I’ve had on a warrior is playing something as far from a mace skill as possible. I leveled using mace skills and I’ll never make that mistake again. I still keep a mace in my second slot for leap slam as a travel skill, but I’m tempted to swap it for a talisman with pounce instead.But the biggest wake-up call I had was when I got my hands on a beefy Twisted Empyrean that rolled well. I thought maybe I could level a second character to use it and started to dig into mace skills…And there’s almost nothing skill wise that’s just “hit stuff hard with your mace”. Every skill seems to require another skill to be useful, or it requires standing still for 2-3 seconds. I know a lot of PoE 2 is built around this design principle, but maces feel like the most convoluted, needlessly complex offenders.I know there are mace enjoyers out there. But the viable builds seem to be designed for overcoming the obstacles of playing mace skills rather than just enhancing them.I used to think people who complained about maces were exaggerating. All I can say is that I’m sorry. I didn’t know until how it was until I tried to trudge slowly across a map in your shoes.
