Especially since there's a clear difference between those who knew him before his Amnesia and those who are just meeting him. Also, what I truly like the most about Dissonance is that I think this is one of the few modern VNs that actually tries to do something with the whole Comatose/Amnesiac MC beyond being just a plot device for self-insertion. You can feel the struggle of the protagonist coming to assimilate that he's been left with nothing of the person he used to be, and I personally think that's some breath of fresh air in a world of people who uses Amnesia as an easy way out to excuse the protagonist not having an actual personality. People here says the game has a rough beginning, but I think it depends. You can call me Ministry of Propaganda or a paid shill, but those are my true feelings about the story.

Operation Stutter Witch Exorcism: complete!i finished debugging manosaba's jeetcode. now it has exactly the same performance between vn sections and trialsthe Stutter Witch's identity? SSAO, it add 100% additional gpu overhead for absolutely no reason with absolutely no visible difference. also it only activated during trials i thinkflawless performance on deck after the fix with 10w with 30fps lock (fan staying silent too!). there are a lot more optimizations that could be made to run this kusoge on an rpi but acacia isn't paying me enough to bother proceeding further

Finished as:9-nine ATREISIA. It was a decent read, though not as good as the original series. The main heroine was pretty cute, but you could tell that they were trying to re-create the Kakeru/Sora dynamic, but failing. It just can't be done without sawa3 and Abe Atsushi voicing them, the combination is just too elemental to reproduce with other seiyuu.In terms of spoiler-related things, hamfisting the original cast into various SoL scenes felt way too forced. It would have served the story better to cut these completely, with one exception. Ren'ya's role was great and added tension to a scene nicely. Also, Sawa3 totally forgot how to do Sora's character, I wasn't even 100% sure it was her until the credit roll.All in all, I don't know if I'd recommend for anyone to go out of their way to read it, but if you like the original setting and want more, it's not too bad.
