The reason Yozora says he will save Sora is because he is a worshipper who believes Sora is a god or savior. You can tell because the patch he wears on his jacket is a skull patch like the ones characters in Versus XIII and XV wore. In Versus XIII this is because those characters would have been from a country where they worshipped a god of death, Etro. Yozora's patch has the addition of hair shaped like Sora's and two keys crossing. The two keys crossing are meant to represent the X-blade which Sora also has. And lest we forget X also means death. When Sora uses his "darkness form" in KH4, which will be presumably much more monstrous just like the darkside and shadows in Quadratum this will cause a schism in the believers who will regard Sora as a King of Demons. Thereby also calling back to the stories of keyblade wielders being said to bring ruin and to have saved the world.

I genuinely can't imagine KH4 not having Forms in some way. Like build seems interesting and every keyblade will have different combos. So I've been going through the handheld KH games since I hadn't played them at all yet. Emulated both 358 and Recoded, then I pirated 1.5+2.5 so I could play BBS in HD but halfway through Ventus's story I ended up just buying the game since Steam Summer Sale and all. Didn't wanna start over but transferring my save file didn't seem to work and just gave me a corrupt error. Managed to get around this with the KH save editor and uploaded my old save into a new one and it worked. But as I've been progressing through the story now I've noticed none of the achievements have been popping... Is there a way to fix this?

Speaking of mods the Better Battle System mod for BBS was updated again. I played around with it and fought MF as Terra. The fight isn't too much different than vanilla in terms of game feel, but I did really enjoy using animation cancels to beat him. Not sure how useful that would be in an entire playthrough, so I'm curious how that'll work when I replay the series next year.

I thought about it and realized a world based on Inside Out is impossible because Inside Out is literally just the real world with no fictional elements whatsoever. The more I think about it the reason I got annoyed long ago that pins weren't used in Kingdom Hearts was because the pins of TWEWY are all button pins, which are cheap and use a safety pin backing instead of the cooler and much fancier enamel pins that Disney is known for. Medals in UX are often closer to button pins than enamels, so I still think there's potential for enamels to be used in the franchise.

Can someone explain vanitas in KH3? In the base game he says he needed to fix his heart in monstropolis, which implies he is the present vanitas. But in remind they say he is from the past. Did they pull a broken vanitas from the past? Or did he just use the screams to temporarily fill the hole he wanted to shove ven in to get stronger?

I feel bad for Metal Chocobo. It's not a very inspired design and you get it in the same tournament you get Olympia, and there's no way to pause and equip it for the remaining bouts after Cloud. I went from Fairy Harp straight to the strong as fuck Olympia.
