apparently the event is brutally survivor sided i dont get it. i 4k´ed vs a really good solo team although be it where everyone knew how to loop well individually, on one of if not the weakest killers in dbd with a totem build and just using poison.

After a long chase against someone with his friend following on comms, when he's finally lost, he jumps into the locker next to the door on shack, the one where he is now 100% safe because his friend flashlight saves me during the grab animation. The friend doesn't even hide it he just stands there, just letting me know 'yes all of that was for nothing, now you have to chase me (healthy) instead'. There's so much I can complain about for comms, but my only point here is, can we at least give killers flashlight immunity during locker grabs? It will be just one more little thing SWFs abuse taken away.

The other half of his power is high mobility which he can use for traversal, and in chase to try and cut you off/body block you. my point is, my jason matches were decent, but when I started using hens build, literal all wins. My jason killrate went from 60 to 73%, and probably will only go higher if I keep playing him. But I rotate through killers, I play basically all of them. Game gets incredibly boring just playing one killer over and over.

tbf the websites stats are heavily skewed since they cut off somewhere, but I don't know where. It is very funny though - since my most used perks is still Borrowed Time from way back when that mattered as a perk. Followed real close by Adrenaline which I stopped running a little before they fixed / nerfed it by not having it activate off hook. so theres something off there, cause it also has Doctor as my second most killer after Oni, but I only (really) took him out for memey distressing full blast games on The Game or Midwich to fuck with people.

My time is also an extra 1000~ish on steam compared to the site, which is 927ish hours compared to 2,785. hours.

I think "overpowered" is a misnomer when survivors have tools to counter any strategy available to every killer, especially so on comms. You will hear streamers say nurse is OP but then they'll be in a swf with their friends and say "just die edge map she can't do fucking ANYTHING if we always die edge map she won't be able to pressure the gens" as if this strategy is not available to all survivor players. Survivors are ultimately the power role and I don't think any killer is consistently too powerful to deal with.

What we're really talking about is the typical effort/reward ratio for killers and how an individual killer compares to that baseline. I think Jason's mobility+info is a very strong tool that he doesn't have to earn, that's something he has that sets him above many killers. His ranged attack has ample telegraphing, and is among the projectiles that require precision, such that his gameplay is full of making prediction shots and calling dodges, and survivors can win these mind games. I think he has solid advantages compared to other killers, but he can be dealt with by competent survivors.

I agree that survivors have a much higher potential, but the gap between good solos and third party comm SWF is massive.
The bigger problem is that killers have the compensation but it's RNG. If a killer could change his perks after seeing the items for example it'd make a world of difference. Instead you just blind kit for SWF or solos and if you guess wrong get rekt.
Also, the game is for casuals only. That's why there's no ranked mode or visible MMR and lots of EOMM. So just stop worrying about it.

It is quite silly how gimped you start in the beginning.
Luckily there are lots of free blood points right now. There’s a code in the OP for 10(?) million. Once you prestige a character the first time, you can auto-fill bloodwebs which is very convenient. Prestige 3 a killer and you unlock the level 3 version of their perks on every killer.
Personally, I think hag’s perks are great. Ruin and devour hope are huge value. Brutal strength and light born can also help a lot.
Unfortunately, even lobbies which should be beginners usually have 1-3 survivors with tons of hours ready to bully you. Tell your son to pick off the weak links first. If someone wants you to chase them, you’re probably better off finding an easier target.
