Is Hamsa worth an emergency nerf?I think Hamsa may be on the path to an emergency nerf. 8/8 stats for 2pp and an evo is absurd, and pretty much unsanswerable if paired with something else like Colette. Even if you answer him, there are no cheap spells at all that reach 8 damage, meaning you need to use hard, more expensive removal, so you lose the pp trade by a long margin. And at turn 4-5 you simply don't have further pp to do anything, so even if you remove the Hamsa you may still be quite behind on tempo, leading to an eventual loss unless you have a way to turn the game on its head. Hamsa is basically a less harsh hand check than Wilnas, but comes earlier (unless the Dragon player ramps twice into Wilnas) and with company (due to Hamsa's very low cost), meaning you have less answers, yet still face an existential thread very early into the game. And as we know, handchecks aren't healthy design.

>>572553954It depends on what the meta ends up looking like. It's in flux right now. For the past two seasons Milteo Abyss was great for newfags since it barely ran any leggos at all. IIRC originally it was just Milteo and then later they added Niggerman in the next set. I think Milteo and Niggerman were both in their respective expansions' freebie decks. The original Milteo deck was a meme budget deck and then the tools it got later got it slapped with several nerfs. Alternatively other decks might run half of the deck or more in terms of leggos.The meta is normally skewed in favor of fast aggro decks immediately after a set releases. That's for two reasons: The first is that aggro decks are relatively simple and they can prey on people that are experimenting with homebrews. The second is that they tend to both win and lose fast, a player can churn through a billion matches quickly. So players who grind the ladder might initially hit the deck running with aggro even if the win rate is comparatively poor since they get more wins per hour. If they stick to the usual schedule, next week will have a "chest event". Normally the meta starts seriously stabilizing after the chest event. Keep an eye on "shadowverse-wins.com". Sort through the posts and try to see if any decks with few leggos get a decent win streak. Consider trying to craft that if you can. After about a month or two you should be able to start having enough vials to craft any single deck that you want. Maybe not an "oops all leggos" deck.

To get vials you need duplicate cards since the NIGGERS at cygay don't let you vial any duplicates until you have more than a playset. To that end you're probably going to want to concentrate almost all of your spending on one set. You can argue that you might want to open a few packs of the other sets to build up copies of bronzes/silvers/golds for making decks, but hopefully the freebie packs gave you a decent stockpile of common cards.Rolling now for the latest set arguably is a good idea since it will remain in rotation longest, but alternatively if you really like a cosmetic leader then you can try rolling an older to go gambling and try to get a leader ticket. GOOD FUCKING LUCK WITH THAT THOUGH. The odds of pulling a leader are DOGSHIT.Two considerations for not immediately spending 100% of your gold:1: The take-2 format is arguably an ok deal if you still want to open packs from the latest set. If you get a lot of wins then you can potentially make a profit. If you just get two wins then you break even with the cost of your entry fee.
