>>572553669It's a lot like Sekiro in that the special abilities are nice, but not necessary - just git gud at parrying (the parry timing is a bit trickier than Sekiro's, it's a bit earlier), and you'll eat bosses alive. Your two tiers of special abilities are a lot more powerful say, than Sekiro's Ichimonji and make the game easy mode when you figure out how to spam them. My biggest complaint is that dodging unblockable attacks feels very inconsistent, you have to learn the specific timings for every attack for every boss, you can't just dodge right when the attack is going to hit you. Sekiro has my favorite combat of all the FromSoft games I've played, so if you liked it, you'd probably be good at Stellar Blade's. easy 8/10 would recommend.
