These days I would still suggest countersniping, but you basically have to get people who are tapping rogues on their way into the WTP. I personally like the rocks west of the WTP, just across from the grenade launcher rogue/landmines. You can hit people at the boathouses but also people who run around inside the plant. People will also be running underneath you on the way to extract. People just don't expect someone to be posted up there that often.

I don't have kappa yet on my main account so I know I'm going to want to still split my time between the two, and I already don't get tons of raids done each week anyway. I discovered a couple weeks ago that opening the settings menu and clicking the save button without changing anything will immediately (you can just back out without waiting for the menu to close automatically) set it back to normal once it's started Doing It, which is uh still not ideal having to open the menu every 30 seconds in a fucking match but a significant improvement over waiting it out while the game becomes completely uncontrollable2. today I figured out what actually triggers it lmao, it's the FUCKING ingame vsync setting jesus CHRIST NIKITA HOW DID YOU FUCK THIS UP. forcing vsync externally via nvia/amd/whatever bullshit works fine and does NOT trigger the issue, it's only the broken ass ingame setting that fucks everything up. this does unfortunately cap the menu to 60fps which looks like ASS on a 75hz display (given it's been OVER A FUCKING YEAR and they still haven't fixed this shit I'm guessing it only happens at 75hz/other uncommon refresh rates idfk) and afaict there's no way to disable the menu cap besides enabling ingame vsync and fucking everything, but this dogshit is at least SLIGHTLY less unplayable nowFIX YOUR SHIT NIKITAAAA*it does not occur in normal eft or in the menu/firing range/etc, but it can trigger as soon as you connect to a match and start loading in which usually results in getting DC'd and having to reconnect just as the match starts

Also the way scope zooming seems to work, the larger the zoom range the slower the smooth zoom seems to be. So 1-6x will feel snappier and more responsive when zooming in compared to 1-8x. The tac30 at 1-4x is even faster but that reticle is dogshit.The zooming thing is just based on how I seem to feel about it, I haven't actually tested that out or anything.

Then totally rebalance trader availability by putting more things back onto low level traders (7.62/5.45 ps). Even on day 1 of wipe fucking no one is picking up ANY 12/70 or 9x18mm ammo. I shouldn't even exist. Then there's tons of ammos in other calibers that people don't bother with either. The loot tables on weapon/ammo crates are so fucking polluted by now that it's meaningless to actually loot things for the purpose of using it anymore. People just ascribe a ruble value to everything.Basically gear should be found in raid and extracted with, not just bought on the flea market. You make stockpiles of the weapons/ammo you like by doing raids (you have to chose your favorites because you can't take everything). Or you can kill other people for it.
