Champs being annoying would be solved if one misstep wasn't punished with a kill threat, forced recall or a lane lost. Game has sped up too much and this gameplay landscape, where even teamfights last barely a handful of seconds and everything has tons of mobility, has got boring. You know one thing I do not think people understand about LoL classic is how much longer cooldowns used to be. For example, Leonas CD on Q used to be 12 seconds at level 1. It's 5 seconds now, over half the cooldown is gone in the modern game. Fights are going to be a lot slower with far fewer abilities being thrown around than people are used to in the current game.

Seraphine was the death of KDA. Seraphine is when the snake swallowed its own tail and a champion was created to sell a skin. Seraphine was what happened when a hammer fell down onto the people who made KDA that read "make more of that now and give it higher profit margins." Seraphine release was genuinely one of the worst champ releases the game has ever seen and had a serious chance of killing league. They were in full damage control for half a year after her release. It was a seriously grim time for the game.
