It's been bothering me for a while how fast and loose Nikke plays it with wild animals in the post-Rapture world. At one point I swear they mentioned that practically all wildlife was exterminated, but now we're on an island that's just teeming with not just small animals the Rapture would likely overlook, but massive animals that require full healthy ecosystems like sea lions and sea turtles. Although I guess even back near launch we just had roving tigers and packs of wolves.
