Okay how about some real discussion.Old fashioned character analysis.FLOWERY is like, the star of the chapter and people have already pointed out how he's basically college age Rudy. Asgore's best friend. However Tricky Tony uses Tricknology to make everything significant have double meanings. (Late Night/Knight comes to mind.)The other, seemingly more obvious at first, connection Flowery has is to Flowey, or rather to Asriel. Namely I think Flowery's relation to Ralsei can be used as a bit of a mirror to the relation of Asriel and Kris as siblings. Asriel is often touted as the perfect son, straight-A student that never got into any trouble and was always good. Ralsei's connection to Kris is pretty obvious, what with the pink-horn headband almost certainly being some part of Ralsei light world form. Flowery and Ralsei argue fiercely, but they don't seem to hate each other. Their solo argument was honestly quite like how siblings argue. With there being a fair shot that Ralsei is also some sort of plant, a tree, they very likely are kin in a way. I think another fun parallel here is likely Ralsei to Kris -> Ralsei says to Flowery "If I let myself go like you I could burn you down in an instant!" and unless the world's rules have changed (so far they haven't) that is very likely Kris's experience with monsters in Hometown. A human child, with the intent to harm, is stronger than like, any amount of monsters in Undertale and I doubt it's much different in Deltarune. Ralsei's certainty that NOT holding back makes everything worse I believe also mirror's Kris's feelings. Sword-Route implies heavily that Kris killed Dess with the black deer being cut down in the bunker section. Even if that's not entirely true, the implication is there and it would make sense for Kris to loath himself for "letting himself go" since everything in Kris's life got way worse after that. Family broke apart. Friends distanced themselves. etc.What think?

And the gameplay ends eventually. I think people will like 5 more when they end up playing through all of the chapters again in like a year or two where it's a better contrast against chapter 4.

Flowey keeps everything trapped in a time loop for ~2 years and then frisk falls in and we possess them. Everyone (rightfully) assumes frisk's goal is to just leave the underground but doing so never actually brings us to a final ending that closes the time loop. In contrast, whether you go true ending or genocide ending you are presented with a "final" ending and can't start the game again without either bargaining with Chara or fulfilling Flowey's request for a true reset. I think the fact that we can't actually follow the characters out of the underground or pick up a save in Frisk's life after the prophecy is fulfilled in true pacifist also supports this; if we want to be involved in the world of Undertale it HAS to be within the time frame that we're able to bring the prophecy to fruition
