Why is censorship in LLMs so god damn inconsistent and context-sensitive?I'm using Deepseek in Silly Tavern. I tricked the bot into giving me a full list of all censored topics. It gave me a pretty extensive (like 40 different things) list that I think covers just about everything, even things I didn't expect to be there.Then right away I tested it by asking the bot to give me a story featuring as many topics in the list as possible, and it did.But if I go to another chat and try to do something the LLM considers non-consensual, I'm guaranteed to get a "blah blah can't write about this" message.How does this all work?
