Just finished the Master Pack. It wasn't that bad, but I wouldn't call it good per se either. The lore dump at the gate feels hurried, like they tried to stuff everything into one pack instead of having you discover things like the parallel worlds and loop thing over time. You can also tell that some segments like master volunteering to be thrown up into the air to save Justia were added after player feedback that master was essentially a glorified cameraman. It seems it made them reconsider their previous "master won't fight" stance. For a first story pack for new players it has a lot of text and only like 3 fights which felt odd. It also felt odd to have (you) fight the Xth reverie with some epic battle music and then one-shot her with your free temp units because it's supposed to be the new tutorial pack. It makes the Reveries seem like fotm jobbers with no substance and undermines the threat Veila was setting up just moments prior.Also, Justia and co. were doing perfectly fine before.
