Today we will be doing a brief overview of the major communication styles in the virtual world Second Life. They can be broken down into these three categories:1. Voice2. IM chat3. Local chatThe voice user is essentially the chair people from Wall-E. They have evolved past the capacity to use their hands and will only interact with Second Life in the ways which require minimal effort. Their communication style usually consists of howls, hoots, laughter, making random noises, and playing music into their mics as these random noises are more effortless than normal conversation. If conversation does take place it will be the same sort of conversation you might hear shouted from porches in trailer parks.The second category is the IM chatter. They usually have SL minimized while doing other activities at the PC, and some of them use lightweight text only/mobile clients to access the game. Much like the voice user they desire minimal interaction with the virtual world, this group however are capable of using their hands. They usually only speak when spoken to.The last group are Local chatters. These users generally remain engaged with what is happening around them. They retain the full use of their limbs and are capable of moving in and interacting with the virtual environment. This is the least common communication style within SL, as gesture spam has shrunk their natural habitats.

They wind up leaving their home base sometimes for the more advanced, and establish connections to actual AVs and some have a vindictive course of action, in some way, getting you to buy from them, with a hiked price on an item you are scammed and that L you lost sits in whoever the creator was account. Alternatively but rarely have I seen them used through the actual bots, as typically, theyre not programmed into the world with those attributes when their creator was active, or when they become active. It is a crazy thought knowing how many conversations ive had that got fairly deep in a sense - werent even with actual people.
