what went so right on ret paladin? for as much as people shit on it for being simple, its one of the most fun dps specs in the game. the SFX are punchy and satisfying, BIG YELLOW NUMBERS, good amount of easy to use defense and utility, low rotational complexity but always something to do, not really any buttons that just feel like needlessly spinning your wheels to get traction the rest of the spec designers should start taking notes. sometimes less is more. i think the new enhancement rework comes close to being as good, especially with the new sunder strike combo
